IoP email with IMAP & gmail SMTP

IoP email is MS Exchange Server, which Evolution claims to be able to cope with, but I was having all manner of problems. Computing helpdesk instructions for setting up email on phones etc. recommend using webmail.iop.kcl.ac.uk IMAP server to get your mail, and an external SMTP server to [...]
